Sentence ‘F’ is the opening sentence, independent & stands alone. Sentence ‘F’ is talking about preparing for battles. Sentence ‘D’ is just taking the discussion further. Sentence ‘F’ answers the question asked in the sentence ‘D’. If you read carefully, you easily tell that ‘FDE’ is the logical sequence.
For the remaining sentence, each of whom is talking about an era. First came an agrarian era then industrial era & nowadays it’s an information era.
