1. Read the given text and summarize it in your words.
Do we know the difference between knowledge and wisdom? Is there a need to know the difference between them? Are we well equipped to handle the vagaries of existence with what is known to us? Knowledge means all that we acquire from what we read, hear or see. Wisdom means the ability to choose from what is available to us and then use it for our own benefit. Today, the world has started talking about the value based education. What does it mean? In simple terms it means two things. First, it accept that current education has badly let down.
Secondly, it lays stress on values, and hence wisdom, instead of mere knowledge. How do we acquire this value based education? The answer becomes simple if we need education. We need education only to make us live better and more joyously. Once we know this we must add only those things in education which achieve this aim. The dictum that “a healthy mind can exist only in a healthy body” is a time tested one. Schools, thus become sources of healthy bodies too. This can best be achieved by yoga because games are beyond our financial capabilities. Yoga is very beneficial. It occupies so little space, and can be done without the least bit of fuss. One wonders why schools have not adopted it as a mandatory subject at all levels.

Friendship should not be dependent as it made us weak and slave for help rather it should be joyous and independent and free from any helping barrier that’s what makes friendship stronger.

Value based education system focuses on how to lead a healthy life and
makes us live better and joyously, so every school has to play a key role in
developing a healthy mindset among children by engaging them in yoga,
which is extremely beneficial to build a health body.
Instead of proverb “a friend in need is a friend indeed” it should be “a friend in deed is a friend indeed” because person whose deeds are virtuous and pro-life in his own best-friend is therefore, primed to be our friend as well.
To progress to a value based education system from the current low grade knowledge based system, it is important to stress on wisdom which will make our lives better and happy.
Although, there is a difference between Knowledge and Wisdom but we need Education to enable us live a better life and the need for Yoga games to keep our body healthier.

Although, a proverb says “a friend in need is a friend indeed”, which simply means that friendship must be parasites and looters in order to be truly divine but the Indian Shastras have a contrary view to the above statement, that the evaluation of a person’s ability must be checked before he is deemed to be fit for our friendship.
Although, education lays more stress on wisdom instead of knowledge and it makes us live better and more joyously but it will not make our body healthier because an healthy mind breeds an healthy body and this can be best achieved by inculcating the Yoga games into the subject levels of our education curriculum.
