0 Almost nothing from the prompt in the response
sometimes it make difficult to memorize the sentences ,if u can help the best way to memorize the long sentences then please let me know.much rattled actually.
The way to improve is to listen to podcasts more often, try using short forms while taking notes and get acquainted with the various accents.
In order reproduce same sentence follow the below:
1)Try to recognise the sentence pattern ( assertive/interrogative.etc)
2) Recognise the tense.( Type of the sentence-past/present/future)
3) Try to imagine the actions in the given sentence.
4) else write down each starting letter of the word from the sentence and try to speak them in a order to reproduce ( try to omit small words like is/was/…etc-focus only main words).
Example::
Try to write the first letter of every word in Caps.
Example as follows:
” Library will be closed next Tuesday ”
LWBCNONT- this way you can save time and can easily remember the sentence. In the beginning you may find difficult but after some practice you will be able to remember the whole sentence and each word carries one mark.
do you have some tips , i really find it hard to remember all the words.
Keep practicing, there is no other shortcut.
Try using abbreviations and short forms and make sure to write the main content words. For instance, on the first audio above you might quickly write down the following notes:
“bing stdnt rep on Union rly cuts stdy time” and then translate the sentence using proper grammar and articles/prepositions to complete the idea:
“Being a student representative on the union really cuts into my study time.”
So you can see – the notes focus on content words and drop vowels from spelling to speed up the note take process. You have to be aware of how to properly use articles to make this strategy work but its the best way.
